Nick's Bio

Nick - Founder & Guide

Nick brings over twenty five years of coaching experience to Wholegevity, specializing in nature-based longevity coaching across Yorkshire's landscape. As an STA open water coach and member of the Register of Exercise Professionals, he works with clients ranging from complete beginners to experienced outdoor athletes.

His approach is rooted in a simple belief: modern life has disconnected us from the natural rhythms that regulate long-term health. Through structured outdoor experiences — weighted hiking, cold water swimming, and mindful movement — Nick helps people build a stronger healthspan, restoring energy, improving sleep, and rebuilding resilience for the decades ahead.

As a trainer in his 50s, Nick understands that robust, all-round health is what lets you actually enjoy the richness of life for decades ahead, not just survive them.

"Good health isn't just physical. How you feel in your body affects everything — your mood, your sleep, your emotional stability. I'm interested in how being in nature, moving in natural ways, and simplifying life even temporarily can profoundly shift someone's overall wellbeing."

Nick draws on evidence from lifestyle medicine, chronobiology, and nature-based therapy. But his real expertise comes from two decades guiding people of all abilities back to practices their bodies were designed for.
